Job Description

Position Summary

The Senior Planner (NPI) is responsible for planning and coordinating New Product Introduction (NPI) activities to support successful product launches from development through volume production. This role partners with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, procurement, and suppliers to ensure project schedules, material readiness, and production capacity are aligned to meet business and customer milestones.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain NPI schedules and master plans across engineering, wafer fabrication, assembly & test, and supply chain activities.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, procurement, operations, and suppliers, to ensure project milestones and deliverables are achieved on schedule.
  • Plan and monitor material availability and production capacity for engineering builds, qualification lots, pilot runs, and production ramp.
  • Track project progress, identify risks or bottlenecks related to materials, tooling, lead times, or manufacturing capacity, and work with stakeholders to implement mitigation plans.
  • Coordinate project updates and communicate schedule changes with Program Managers, Business Units, and key stakeholders.
  • Support the transition from engineering builds to volume manufacturing by coordinating production readiness, capacity planning, and production-ready Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Maintain accurate planning data, monitor key milestones, and prepare reports to support timely execution of NPI projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 7 to 10 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, production planning, New Product Introduction (NPI), or program management.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes, including wafer fabrication and/or OSAT (Assembly & Test).
  • Experience using ERP/MES systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar manufacturing systems) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong planning, analytical, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
