Senior Planner – Primavera P6

Location: Andheri East, Mumbai

Full-Time | On-Site

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Planner who brings structure, foresight, and a disciplined approach to project delivery.

This role requires an experienced planning professional who can combine traditional project controls expertise with modern scheduling methodologies to successfully manage complex engineering and construction programmes.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing, managing, and maintaining project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring that project timelines, dependencies, milestones, and deliverables remain aligned throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Scheduling

• Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6

• Create and manage Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) aligned with project scope and contractual obligations

• Monitor project progress against approved baselines

• Identify schedule variances and develop recovery plans where required

• Manage project milestones, dependencies, and critical path activities

Coordination & Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Engineering Teams, Commercial Teams, and Site Leadership

• Support tendering and bid activities through planning expertise and schedule development

• Facilitate planning and coordination meetings across multiple stakeholders

• Ensure schedule alignment between design, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities

Reporting & Project Controls

• Prepare weekly and monthly project progress reports

• Develop dashboards and performance metrics for project stakeholders

• Maintain accurate records of schedule revisions, delays, and change impacts

• Support project risk assessments and scenario modelling activities

• Provide schedule analysis to support management decision-making

Governance & Controls

• Ensure planning processes comply with company standards and industry best practices

• Monitor resource allocation and productivity trends

• Track project dependencies and identify potential risks impacting delivery

• Provide early warning indicators and strategic planning insights

• Support continuous improvement of project controls processes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline

• 7–12+ years of planning experience on large-scale engineering, construction, infrastructure, EPC, or data centre projects

• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 (Mandatory)

• Strong understanding of EPC project lifecycle and project controls methodologies

• Experience working within multinational organizations and fast-paced project environments
