Senior PL/SQL Developer

URGENT HIRING | SENIOR PL/SQL DEVELOPER | 5–8 YEARS

We are looking for an experienced Senior PL/SQL Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, database development, performance tuning, and production support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop, enhance, and maintain applications using Oracle SQL & PL/SQL.

• Design and develop Procedures, Functions, Packages, Triggers, Cursors, and complex SQL queries.

• Perform SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning and optimize database operations.

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application/database-related issues.

• Participate in development, testing, deployment, and production support activities.

• Investigate production issues and provide timely resolutions.

• Work independently on assigned modules and deliver tasks within defined timelines.

• Collaborate with business users, developers, QA teams, and other stakeholders.

• Understand existing database architecture and contribute to continuous improvements.

• Ensure coding standards, performance, scalability, and maintainability of database solutions.

• Support integration requirements involving Oracle databases and external applications/APIs.

• Participate in requirement discussions, technical analysis, impact assessment, and solution design.

MUST-HAVE SKILLS

5–8 years of relevant experience in Oracle SQL & PL/SQL Development

Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database

Strong knowledge of Procedures, Functions, Packages, Triggers & Cursors

Expertise in SQL Query Optimization & Performance Tuning

Strong debugging and analytical/problem-solving skills

Ability to understand business processes and convert requirements into technical solutions

Experience working independently and managing deliverables within timelines

Good stakeholder communication and coordination skills

Production support and issue-resolution experience

GOOD TO HAVE

Oracle APEX

ORDS (Oracle REST Data Services)

REST APIs

Oracle Fusion Integration

Experience with Oracle-based application integrations

Exposure to modern Oracle development and integration practices
