Job Description

Senior Piping Stress Engineer

Perform piping stress analysis and flexibility studies for Oil & Gas and energy projects.
Develop and analyze piping stress models using CAESAR II.
Perform sustained, thermal, occasional and expansion load case analysis.
Evaluate equipment nozzle loads and piping support loads.
Review piping layouts, isometrics and support arrangements from a stress perspective.
Prepare piping stress analysis reports, calculation sheets and technical deliverables.
Coordinate with Piping, Mechanical, Process, Civil/Structural and other engineering disciplines.
Ensure compliance with ASME B31.3, API standards, project specifications and applicable design codes.
Review and resolve client/consultant comments and incorporate design changes.
Provide technical support for detailed EPC design and engineering deliverables.
Participate in technical reviews and ensure quality of piping stress deliverables.
Identify and resolve critical piping stress and flexibility issues.
