Position: Piping Designer

Work Location: Bangalore, India

Education: Diploma/BE

Experience: 5+ Years of Experience

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Must have minimum 6 years of experience in piping design.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Plant3D / CADWORX / SP3D / E3D
• Eye for the preliminary, conceptual steel framing shape to provide support of the skid/module
• Experienced enough to be able to position equipment suitable for access and maintenance activities
• Understanding of the software specific administrative functions of setting up project database
• Equipment layout and pipe routing of road freight modules.
• Equipment modeling of Vessels (generic shapes using parameterized shapes in software)
• Import special shape reactors from Mechanical Engineering Department (STEP)
• Import vendor provided 3D models of valves, pumps, etc.
• Model pipe supports and hangers
• Supervision and workload assignment to subordinate piping designer.
• Interfaces with Project Manager / Project Engineer
• Interfaces with Sr. Principal Piping Engineer, and Sr. Piping Designer as needed
• Interfaces with Process Engineering function.
