Job Description for Pipeline Engineer below,
A Pipeline Design Engineer with 7-12 years of experience in the oil and gas industry isresponsible for leading pipeline routing, hydraulic sizing, stress analysis (FEA), and material selection, ensuring compliance with ASME, API, and DNV codes.
Key Responsibilities
- To perform pipeline routing, optimization, alignment sheets, and hydraulic calculations (pressure drop, pipe sizing).
- To execute and review stress calculations, buckling analysis, and surge analysis.
- Subsea power cable design and management
- Prepare technical specifications, data sheets, and material take-offs (MTO).
- Ensure designs comply with industry standards such as ASME B31.4/B31.8, API, and DNV.
- Utilize design software such as Caesar II, ANSYS, OrcaFlex, or SIMLA.
- Coordinate with inter-disciplinary teams (process, structure, installation), manage sub-contractors, and conduct technical bid evaluations.
