Role Description
The Senior Physiotherapist is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida & Gurugram, responsible for delivering advanced neuro rehabilitation services to clients with spinal cord injuries, paralysis, and complex neurological conditions.
Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments, designing individualized treatment plans, leading activity-based and exercise-focused therapy sessions, and monitoring progress using evidence-based outcome measures.
The role involves close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, educating clients and caregivers on home programs and recovery expectations, and ensuring safe use of specialized rehabilitation equipment and technologies.
The Senior Physiotherapist will also contribute to clinical documentation, quality improvement initiatives, mentorship of junior team members, and adherence to professional and organizational standards of care.
Qualifications
- Clinical expertise in physiotherapy, with strong skills in neuro rehabilitation assessment, treatment planning, and hands-on execution.
- Proficiency in activity-based therapy, gait training, mobility restoration, and exercise prescription for spinal cord injury and paralysis.
- Experience working within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, collaborating effectively with occupational, speech, and neurodevelopmental therapists.
- Strong patient communication and counseling skills, including the ability to educate clients and caregivers on therapy goals, home exercises, and long-term recovery strategies.
- Ability to manage intensive therapy schedules, maintain accurate clinical records, and follow evidence-based protocols and safety standards.
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy (MPT/BPT) from a recognized institution; specialization in Neurology or Neuro Rehabilitation is highly preferred.
- Valid professional registration/license as required by local regulatory bodies.
- Minimum of several years of relevant clinical experience in neuro rehab or complex physiotherapy cases; prior experience in a specialized rehab center is an advantage.
- Comfort with using advanced rehabilitation equipment and openness to learn new technologies and techniques based on current research.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical, gender-neutral, and non-discriminatory patient care, with a compassionate and professional approach.
