Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Physical Verification Engineer located in Bengaluru South. The role involves performing physical verification on complex IC designs using industry-standard tools, managing design-rule checks (DRC) and layout-versus-schematic (LVS) verification, and ensuring tape-out readiness. The candidate will work closely with the design and layout teams to resolve verification issues and optimize design rule compliance. The role will also require the implementation of physical verification flows and scripts to streamline processes.

Qualifications
  • Strong expertise in Physical Verification tools like Calibre, Hercules, or similar software.
  • Knowledge of Design Rule Checking (DRC) and Layout Versus Schematic (LVS) methodologies and debugging techniques.
  • Familiarity with CMOS technology, IC design flows, and physical design processes.
  • Proficient in scripting languages such as Perl, Python, or TCL to enhance flow automation.
  • Ability to analyze design-related issues and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail are essential.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Previous work experience in physical verification within a semiconductor environment is highly desirable.
