Role Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior PHP Laravel Developer to lead the backend development of our e-commerce platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Laravel, strong knowledge of modern backend technologies, and proven experience in building and optimizing scalable e-commerce solutions. This role requires hands-on coding, architecture design, API development, database optimization, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance and secure applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and manage multiple e-commerce projects from start to finish.
- Define scope, timelines, deliverables, and ensure smooth execution.
- Work hands-on with PHP Laravel to build, maintain, and enhance e-commerce features.
- Stay up to date with latest technology stacks (e.g., Laravel, React/Vue, Node.js, REST/GraphQL APIs, cloud hosting, CI/CD).
- Coordinate with developers, designers, SEO/marketing teams, and vendors.
- Manage sprints, track tasks, and ensure deadlines are achieved.
- Identify and resolve project risks, technical bottlenecks, and dependencies.
- Ensure websites follow best practices in performance, SEO, scalability, and security.
- Report regularly to stakeholders on project progress and challenges.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in e-commerce/software/web projects.
- Strong hands-on development experience in PHP (Laravel).
- Solid knowledge of front-end frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular) and REST/GraphQL APIs.
- Experience with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Familiarity with DevOps tools (Git, Docker, CI/CD, cloud hosting like AWS/DigitalOcean).
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools (Jira, Trello, Asana, ClickUp).
Nice to Have:
- Experience with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento).
- Understanding of SEO, analytics, and digital marketing.
- Previous experience scaling e-commerce systems to handle high traffic.
