We are looking for an experienced Senior PHP Developer based in Goregaon East, Mumbai, to collaborate with our team.

What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable PHP-based applications and APIs.
- Ensure that all product environments are optimally running, available without unplanned interruption, and built as per the SDLC.
- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and external systems and ensure secure and reliable data exchange between systems.
- Building reusable code and libraries using Object Oriented Principles.
- Build secure, high-performance backend solutions for booking, reservation, and commerce platforms.
- Collaborate with product, operations, and business teams to deliver reliable technology solutions.
- Improve application performance, security, and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning.
- Business requirement analysis with user group.
What We're Looking For
- Strong professional experience in PHP development.
- Proven track record working with payment gateways, banking systems, financial platforms, travel technology, or online booking systems.
- Experience with API integrations, transaction processing, and secure data handling.
- Solid understanding of databases, system architecture, and software development best practices.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
Requirements
Experience
- Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in PHP development, including the design and maintenance of enterprise-grade applications.
- Demonstrated experience working with payment gateways, banking systems, financial platforms, travel technology solutions, online booking engines, reservation systems, or other transaction-intensive platforms.
- Strong experience in API development and integration, database design, and backend architecture.
- Proven ability to build secure, scalable, and high-performance applications.
Education
- B.E. (Bachelor of Engineering) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- M.E. (Master of Engineering) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- M.Tech (Master of Technology) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- MCA (Master of Computer Applications).
Technical Skills
- Recent hands-on PHP development experience plus code / architecture review, ability to challenge architecture and coach team to produce best code possible
- Strong proficiency in PHP- XML, Web Services, SOAP, AJAX, MySQL.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
- Knowledge of security best practices, especially for payment processing and financial transactions.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Understanding of scalable application architecture and performance optimization.
Location Requirement
