Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior PHP Developer to join our development team. The candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing web applications, APIs, and backend systems. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of PHP frameworks, database management, and modern development practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable web applications using PHP
- Work on backend development, API integrations, and database optimization
- Handle complete project lifecycle from development to deployment
- Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and project managers
- Write clean, secure, and reusable code
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications
- Optimize application performance and security
- Integrate third-party APIs and payment gateways
- Maintain code versioning using Git
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Prepare technical documentation when required
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Core PHP and MySQL
- Experience with Laravel / CodeIgniter frameworks
- Knowledge of REST APIs and third-party integrations
- Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Experience in database design and query optimization
- Familiarity with Git/version control systems
- Understanding of MVC architecture
- Knowledge of web hosting, deployment, and server handling is an added advantage
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
