Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior PHP developer with strong expertise in PHP and modern front-end frameworks to design, build, and maintain scalable SaaS-based web applications. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience across frontend and backend development, strong system design skills, and the ability to work independently as well as mentor junior developers.

Must Have Skills & Experience:

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in software development
  
• Strong expertise in PHP, developing both frontend and backend components for SaaS web applications
  
• Solid experience with Angular, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3
  
• Strong experience with MySQL database design and optimization
  
• Expert-level understanding of Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and MVC architecture
  
• Hands-on experience with PHP frameworks, especially:
  
• Laravel (mandatory)
  
• Slim or Symfony (good exposure expected)
  
• Experience working in Linux environments
  
• Strong experience with Git and distributed version control systems
  
• Good understanding of JSON-based data interchange formats
  
• Hands-on experience creating complex modules from scratch
  
• Ability to estimate user stories, perform technical analysis, and create pseudo code
  
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
  
• Strong understanding of design patterns and best coding practices
  
• Experience with unit test automation frameworks
  

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Translate application storyboards and use cases into fully functional applications
  
• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
  
• Ensure high performance, scalability, and responsiveness of applications
  
• Identify performance bottlenecks and bugs, and implement effective solutions
  
• Maintain high standards of code quality and software best practices
  
• Participate actively in project and product development discussions
  
• Contribute to architectural decisions, including microservices-based designs
  
• Mentor junior developers and support team growth
  
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
  

Good to Have / Added Advantage:

• Experience with React or Vue.js
  
• Hands-on experience with Microservices Architecture
  
• Exposure to Python, .NET, or Java
  
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services
  
• Willingness to learn new languages and technologies as required
