Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior PHP Developer with 8+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in PHP development, backend architecture, database management, and modern frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain high-performance web applications using PHP.
• Design and implement scalable backend solutions and REST APIs.
• Work with frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Symfony.
• Optimize application performance, security, and database queries.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews and follow coding best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in PHP development.
• Expertise in Laravel / CodeIgniter / Symfony frameworks.
• Good knowledge of MySQL, database design, and query optimization.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience with Git/version control systems.
• Understanding of cloud platforms and deployment processes is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of AWS, Docker, or microservices architecture is an added advantage.
