Role Description This is a full-time Senior PHP Developer role based in the Mohali district with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing a mix of on-site and work-from-home days. The Senior PHP Developer will design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and APIs using PHP and related frameworks, ensuring clean, secure, and scalable code. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with front-end developers and designers, integrating third-party services, optimizing application performance, and troubleshooting complex technical issues. The role also involves participating in code reviews, mentoring junior developers, and contributing to technical decisions and architectural improvements. The developer will work closely with project managers and digital marketing teams to deliver high-quality web solutions that align with client requirements and timelines.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Back-End Web Development and PHP-based Programming, including building RESTful APIs and integrating databases.
- Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns for scalable, maintainable code.
- Experience with Front-End Development fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and working with front-end frameworks or libraries.
- Proven background in Software Development, including version control (Git), debugging, testing, and deployment workflows.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with modern PHP frameworks (such as Laravel or Symfony) and relational databases (such as MySQL or PostgreSQL).
- Ability to collaborate in a hybrid environment, manage priorities, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with SEO, performance optimization, and secure coding practices for web applications is an advantage.
