Job Description

Job Overview:

As a Senior Photo Editor at Framed Memoirs, you will play a crucial role in crafting and perfecting resonant wedding images for our clients. Your expertise in photo editing and colour grading will be essential in crafting beautiful pictures that capture the essence of a special occasion.

You will work a team of photo editors, collaborate with photographers, creative directors, and work closely with clients to deliver high-quality images that exceed expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Image enhancement - edit and retouch photos to correct exposure, colour balance and composition. Adjust and enhance different settings to attain the best possible detail / information from the image.

Colour correction: Ensure accurate and consistent colour representation across all images. Apply stylistic grade or presets as required by the project.

Cropping and composition - Optimise composition to highlight the subject and maintain visual appeal. Crop out unnecessary elements that don't add to the narrative.

File management - Organise and maintain a digital asset management system as guided by the management. Keep an organised track of raw images / work files / exported images.

Quality Control: Ensure all images meet the company's quality standards and guidelines.Perform necessary checks to rectify any errors and inconsistencies in images.

Qualifications and Skills:

Strong understanding of colour theory, composition and basics of photography.

Attention to detail and a keen eye for visual aesthetics.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

Bachelor's degree in photography, visual arts, Multimedia, or a related field is preferred.

Proven experience as a photo editor with an experience of at least 5 years along with a portfolio showcasing exceptional photo editing skills (not genre specific)

Proficiency in Adobe Lightroom & Photoshop.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients, photographers, and other team members.

Strong organisational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

A passion for storytelling and a deep understanding of the emotional impact of such content.

Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Salary: 25,000.00 - 40,000.00 per month
