Job Summary
AlgoShack is seeking a highly skilled Senior Performance Testing Engineer with a strong background in testing methodologies, automation tools, and performance monitoring. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in performance testing along with expertise in Agile methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute performance testing plans focused on Web and API layers of healthcare applications.
- Conduct load, stress, and endurance testing for web portals and APIs.
- Analyze response times, throughput, and error rates to identify performance bottlenecks.
- Develop and execute performance test scripts using tools such as Apache JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Monitor and interpret results using tools like Grafana, AppDynamics, or New Relic.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and collaborate with development teams for performance tuning.
- Document test strategy, execution reports, and improvement recommendations.
Required Skills & Experience
- 67 years of hands-on experience in performance testing of Web and APIs.
- Strong expertise in JMeter or similar performance testing tools.
- Experience in healthcare domain workflows (e.g., EMR systems, patient portals).
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and web-based architectures.
- Proficiency in using monitoring and observability tools (Grafana, AppDynamics, etc.).
- Analytical skills to investigate performance issues using logs, metrics, and traces.
Soft Skills
- Scripting knowledge in Java for customizing performance scripts.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
- Exposure to test automation frameworks.
- Understanding of healthcare compliance standards like HIPAA and HL7.
