We are seeking a Senior Performance Tester Engineer with 8 years of experience in Designing, Developing and Executing Performance Test scripts using Neo Load.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of load testing, stress testing and endurance testing strategies with Neo Load.
- Proficient in creating, configuring and managing test scenarios, including different types of performance tests such as Load, Stress and Endurance.
- In-depth knowledge of performance bottlenecks identification, performance tuning, and performance optimization using Neo Load.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Tosca.
- Ability to integrate performance testing with functional testing to enhance testing strategies.
- Experience with monitoring tools for server-side and application performance during load tests.
- Expertise in analyzing performance test results and providing detailed analysis and recommendations.
- Ability to correlate performance results with infrastructure metrics, application logs and other telemetry data to identify bottlenecks.
- Proficient in identifying, troubleshooting and resolving performance issues across application tiers such as frontend, middleware and database.
- Skilled in diagnosing performance bottlenecks, including issues with CPU, memory, network latency and database contention.
- Effective experience with querying databases for example SQL, MySQL, Oracle to validate backend performance, data retrieval speed and resource utilization during load tests.
- Ability to write complex queries for performance data extraction and analysis.
- Expertise in protocols such as HTTP/HTTPS, WebSocket, REST APIs and other web technologies.
- Familiarity with various infrastructure environments such as cloud, on-prem, hybrid and how they impact performance.
- Experience with scripting languages for example Python and JavaScript for automating performance test scenarios.
- Expertise using Application Performance Monitoring tools to monitor application performance in real-time.
- Ability to collect and interpret performance data from various system components such as network, CPU, memory and disk I/O.
- Demonstrated ability to manage performance testing activities in an agile environment including working with development and operations teams.
- Understanding of industry best practices and standards for performance testing.
