Senior Performance Test Engineer

About The Role

• We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Performance Engineer to join our QA team. will be responsible to design, execute, and analyze performance tests to ensure our applications are scalable, stable, and reliable under different loads.
• Position Description:
• Design, develop, and execute performance test plans, scripts, and scenarios using tools like LoadRunner, JMeter, Gatling, or K6.
• Perform load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing across web, mobile, and API layers.
• Analyze system performance metrics (CPU, memory, network, response time, throughput) and identify bottlenecks across application, database, and infrastructure layers.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to optimize application performance and scalability.
• Establish performance baselines and benchmark metrics for critical business flows.
• Contribute to CI/CD integration of performance tests (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
• Provide detailed test reports and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Utilize monitoring and profiling tools (e.g., Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana, Prometheus, New Relic) to assess performance under load.
• Participate in capacity planning and performance tuning exercises.
• Support root cause analysis (RCA) for production performance incidents
  
  

Duties And Responsibilities

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 34 years of experience in performance testing and engineering.
• Hands-on experience with one or more performance testing tools: JMeter, LoadRunner, NeoLoad, Gatling, or K6.
• Strong understanding of HTTP, REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, and application server tuning.
• Familiarity with profiling tools and APM solutions (Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana, etc.).
• Proficient in scripting (Python, Groovy, Java, or JavaScript) for custom load scenarios.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
