Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Pega QA. The Senior Pega QA will be responsible for quality control, quality assurance and quality management. The role involves ensuring the quality and effectiveness of software systems and processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4+ years of QA Testing experience.
- QA hands-on testing experience within Pega 8.x platform(s).
- Works at the direction of the QA Test Lead to execute the day-to-day testing activities associated with Pega Customer Decision Hub (CDH) implementations.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, testing methodologies and quality assurance principles.
- Proficiency in writing clear and concise test plans, test cases, and defect reports.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, or similar).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills and team oriented
- Responsible for developing all Customer Decision Hub implementation test cases, performing integration, functional and API testing, as well as managing and communicating test results/logs.
- Works collaboratively with the Test Lead and implementation team to test and close stories.
Good to have
- ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) certification preferred.
- Pega / Pega CDH (Pega Decisioning Consultant) certifications.
- API automation using JAVA
