Advent Business Company, Inc. is seeking a Senior Pega Developer for an upcoming federal tax-technology modernization program. This is a hands-on solution-development role on a cloud-native, FedRAMP-compliant platform. Position is contingent on contract award; anticipated start mid-June 2026.
What you'll do
- Build and configure Pega applications using Constellation and Cosmos React UI
- Implement business rules, decision logic, case lifecycles, and data transforms
- Lead Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) tenant onboarding and workload isolation
- Design integrations (REST, SOAP, MQ/JMS) and support data-platform best practices, cost metrics, and reporting
- Work in an Agile/Scrum delivery model with AI-augmented tooling (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) on contractor-owned equipment
Required qualifications
- 5+ years developing in Pega, including hands-on Constellation and Cosmos React
- Proven Pega solution developer: business rules, decision tables/trees, case management
- Experience with data-platform tenancy, workload isolation, and integrations
- AWS Cloud and/or Databricks experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, or related field
- Available during core business hours (8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. ET)
Federal eligibility (required)
- U.S. citizenship (this contract does not permit non-citizens, including green-card holders)
- Ability to obtain and maintain IRS staff-like access (Public Trust): favorable background investigation, FBI fingerprinting, and federal tax compliance (you must be current on your taxes)
- Eligible for an HSPD-12 PIV credential
Preferred
- Pega certifications (CSSA, PLSA, CSA, or PDC)
- Tax-processing, tax-compliance, or case-management domain experience
- Familiarity with FISMA / IRM 10.8.1 federal security controls
