Job Title: Senior PCB Design Engineer Allegro CAD

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior PCB Design Engineer with strong expertise in Allegro CAD tools to design and develop high-quality printed circuit boards for complex electronic systems. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end PCB layout, ensuring signal integrity, manufacturability, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop multi-layer PCB layouts using Allegro PCB Designer
Work closely with hardware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility
Perform component placement, routing, and stack-up design for high-speed and mixed-signal boards
Ensure signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI) considerations are met
Generate and validate Gerber files, fabrication, and assembly drawings
Conduct design rule checks (DRC) and resolve layout-related issues
Optimize PCB designs for EMI/EMC compliance and thermal performance
Collaborate with vendors for DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and DFA (Design for Assembly) reviews
Review schematics and provide feedback from a layout perspective
Mentor junior PCB designers and support design best practices
Maintain design documentation and version control
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electronics / Electrical Engineering or related field

5+ years of experience in PCB design and layout

Strong hands-on experience with Cadence Allegro PCB Designer
Expertise in high-speed PCB design, controlled impedance, and differential routing
Good understanding of signal integrity, power integrity, and EMI/EMC principles
Familiarity with IPC standards (IPC-2221, IPC-7351, etc.)
Experience in multi-layer boards (6+ layers preferred)
Knowledge of DFM/DFA guidelines and manufacturing processes
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with HDI, RF, or high-frequency PCB designs
Exposure to simulation tools (SI/PI tools like HyperLynx, Sigrity, etc.)
Familiarity with PLM tools and version control systems
Experience working with global teams or clients
