Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Payroll Specialist with 1012 years of comprehensive payroll experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring statutory compliance, handling audits, and supporting payroll process improvements. The candidate should have strong knowledge of payroll regulations, taxation, and HRIS/payroll systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for monthly/bi-weekly payroll cycles.
- Ensure accurate calculation of salaries, bonuses, incentives, reimbursements, and final settlements.
- Handle statutory compliance including PF, ESI, PT, TDS, LWF, Gratuity, and other local labor laws.
- Coordinate with Finance and HR teams for payroll inputs and reconciliations.
- Ensure timely statutory filings and tax compliance.
- Process Full & Final settlements, leave encashment, and employee benefits.
- Handle payroll audits (internal and external).
- Maintain payroll records and ensure data confidentiality.
- Address employee payroll-related queries and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare MIS reports and payroll analytics for management review.
- Drive payroll automation and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, HR, or related field.
- 1012 years of experience in payroll processing.
- Strong knowledge of Indian payroll laws and statutory compliance.
- Hands-on experience with payroll software/HRMS (e.g., SAP, Workday, ADP, or other payroll tools).
- Strong understanding of taxation (Income Tax, TDS, Form 16, etc.).
- Excellent Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, advanced formulas).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
