Senior Payroll Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Payroll Specialist with 10–12 years of comprehensive payroll experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring statutory compliance, handling audits, and supporting payroll process improvements. The candidate should have strong knowledge of payroll regulations, taxation, and HRIS/payroll systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for monthly/bi-weekly payroll cycles.
• Ensure accurate calculation of salaries, bonuses, incentives, reimbursements, and final settlements.
• Handle statutory compliance including PF, ESI, PT, TDS, LWF, Gratuity, and other local labor laws.
• Coordinate with Finance and HR teams for payroll inputs and reconciliations.
• Ensure timely statutory filings and tax compliance.
• Process Full & Final settlements, leave encashment, and employee benefits.
• Handle payroll audits (internal and external).
• Maintain payroll records and ensure data confidentiality.
• Address employee payroll-related queries and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare MIS reports and payroll analytics for management review.
• Drive payroll automation and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, HR, or related field.
• 10–12 years of experience in payroll processing.
• Strong knowledge of Indian payroll laws and statutory compliance.
• Hands-on experience with payroll software/HRMS (e.g., SAP, Workday, ADP, or other payroll tools).
• Strong understanding of taxation (Income Tax, TDS, Form 16, etc.).
• Excellent Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, advanced formulas).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
