Senior Payroll Manager

Manager / Senior Manager – Indian Payroll & Compliance – 15+ Years – Pune

We are looking for an experienced Manager / Senior Manager to lead global payroll and compliance operations for multinational clients. This role involves managing end-to-end payroll delivery across geographies, ensuring statutory compliance, leading large teams, and driving operational excellence in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

Responsibilities –

1. Manage end-to-end payroll operations for India and global clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
2. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, handling escalations and building strong stakeholder relationships.
3. Lead and manage large teams (20–50 members), ensuring productivity, engagement, and performance delivery.
4. Ensure compliance with tax regulations, labour laws, and statutory requirements across geographies.
5. Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and quality frameworks to enhance service delivery.

Requirements –

1. 15+ years (Manager) / 17+ years (Senior Manager) of experience in Indian payroll and compliance, preferably in an outsourced environment.
2. Strong experience in managing large teams and handling client-facing roles.
3. Expertise in India and/or global payroll operations and vendor coordination.
4. Experience in project management, payroll transitions, and process improvement initiatives.
5. CA / CA (Inter) / MBA / LLB / Postgraduate from a recognized institution.
