Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Payroll Executive to manage end-to-end payroll operations with a high degree of accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality. The role involves handling complex payroll activities, statutory compliance, audits, and process improvements while coordinating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end payroll processing for monthly cycles with 100% accuracy
Review and validate salary inputs, reimbursements, incentives, and deductions
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations including PF, ESI, PT, TDS, LWF, and Gratuity
Handle Full & Final (F&F) settlements and exit formalities
Prepare and review payroll MIS reports, reconciliation statements, and variance analysis
Ensure timely statutory filings, returns, and compliance documentation
Act as a point of contact for payroll audits (internal & external)
Collaborate with HR, Finance, and external vendors for payroll inputs and issue resolution
Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure data confidentiality
Address and resolve employee queries related to payroll, taxation, and deductions
Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in payroll operations
Required Skills:
Strong expertise in end-to-end payroll processing
In-depth knowledge of statutory compliance and labor laws
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas)
Experience handling large employee databases
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
High attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines
Preferred Skills:
Experience with payroll tools like SAP, ADP, Keka, GreytHR
Exposure to payroll audits and compliance management
Knowledge of process automation / payroll system improvements
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
