Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Patent Prosecution Agent/Attorney with 5+ years of expertise in drafting and prosecuting patent applications in the Electronics, Mechanical, and Software domains. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, in-depth understanding of the Indian Patent Act, and experience handling hearings before the Indian Patent Office.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, prosecute, and manage patent applications in Electronics, Mechanical, and Software domains.
- Represent clients and attend hearings before the Indian Patent Office.
- Interpret inventions in-depth and prepare high-quality patent specifications.
- Review and QC communications with clients and foreign associates in coordination with the Patent Docketing/Paralegal team.
- Ensure compliance with patent laws, deadlines, and prosecution procedures.
- Manage client relationships, technical discussions, and business development initiatives.
- Mentor team members, conduct training sessions, and oversee docketing activities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of patent prosecution experience in core Electronics, Mechanical, or Software technologies.
- Strong knowledge of the Indian Patent Act and prosecution practices.
- Experience handling IPO hearings is mandatory.
- Excellent technical writing and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong verbal communication and client management skills.
- Registered Patent Agent/Attorney preferred.
- Degree from a reputed technical institute with an excellent academic background.
- Team player with leadership abilities and willingness to take additional responsibilities.
- Must be willing to work from the Greater Noida office.
