Role: Senior Patent Associate
As a Senior Patent Associate, youll be the strategic force driving global patent prosecution and drafting excellence - from Indian filings to US and international matters. If you live and breathe technology, patent law, and persuasion, this is your playground.
Key Responsibilities
Drafting & FilingDraft high-quality patent claims and specifications for software and electronics inventions.
Prepare office action responses and manage prosecution before the USPTO, EPO and Indian Patent Offices.
Prosecution & HearingsConduct patent hearings before the Indian Patent Office and examiner interviews for US cases.
Formulate strategic claim amendments and arguments to overcome 101/102/103 objections.
Collaborate with inventors and technical experts to refine invention disclosures.
We're looking for someone with 4-6 years of experience as a patent associate**,** who is meticulous, collaborative, and thrives in a fast-paced, multi-jurisdictional environment.
Job Responsibilities
What You Bring
Experience:4-6 years of experience in patent drafting, prosecution, and hearings, preferably across US and Indian jurisdictions.
Education:B.Tech / B.E. in Software, Electronics, or E&TC Engineering, (Mechanical/Civil not preferred).
LL.B
Registered Indian Patent Agent
Mindset:You think like an engineer but argue like a lawyer.
You thrive in examiner interviews and love finding elegant ways to argue patentability.
Youre self-driven, meticulous, and calm under deadlines.
Skills:Strong command of patent laws (US, India) and MPEP.
Excellent drafting, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
Familiarity with PAIR, Patent Center, ePCT, and Indian e-filing systems.
