The Opportunity

This is more than a chef's role.

As a Senior Pastry Chef Instructor at La Bake Amore, you will have the opportunity to teach, mentor, experiment, create and influence the careers of aspiring pastry professionals.

You will work closely with students in a hands-on professional learning environment, while also contributing to the evolution of our recipes, curriculum, products and training standards.

Salary

₹40,000 – ₹65,000 per month

Depending on skills, experience and performance

What You Will Do

• Develop and standardise new recipes, products and baking techniques
• Teach hands-on practical and theory sessions
• Demonstrate professional bakery and pâtisserie techniques
• Break down complex techniques so students can understand and master them
• Mentor students and help them develop professional confidence and discipline
• Evaluate student work and provide meaningful, constructive feedback
• Develop, improve and update course curriculum and training modules
• Contribute ideas for new courses, workshops and learning experiences
• Maintain high standards of taste, texture, presentation and execution
• Help manage day-to-day kitchen and training operations
• Maintain strong standards of food safety, hygiene and kitchen discipline
• Create a learning environment that is professional, energetic, disciplined and inspiring

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a professional who is:

• Passionate about baking and pâtisserie
• Technically strong and confident in professional baking fundamentals
• Curious and constantly interested in learning and experimenting
• Creative, precise and highly attentive to detail
• Naturally inclined towards teaching, mentoring and sharing knowledge
• A strong communicator who can demonstrate and explain techniques clearly
• Disciplined about professional kitchen standards
• Comfortable taking ownership and working independently
• Interested in building a long-term career in baking education

Education

• Degree in Hotel Management with a specialisation/interest in Bakery & Pâtisserie, or
• Relevant Baking/Pâtisserie certificate or diploma

Previous experience as a Pastry Chef or Baking Instructor is preferred.

However, we are also open to meeting talented professionals with excellent technical fundamentals, strong practical skills and the right attitude towards teaching.
