Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated Senior OT Technician to join our team in Madgaon for a full-time, on-site position. The Senior OT Technician is responsible for preparing and maintaining operation theaters, assisting surgeons during ophthalmic procedures, supervising and training junior staff, adhering to sterilization and infection control protocols, and managing OT inventory and equipment maintenance. Regular collaboration with the medical team and ensuring a safe, high-quality environment for patients will be integral to success in this role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in OT preparation, surgical assistance, and handling ophthalmic equipment
• Strong understanding of sterilization techniques and infection control practices
• Experience in managing OT inventory, equipment handling, and troubleshooting technical issues
• Ability to supervise, train, and coordinate with staff
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• A relevant diploma or certification in Operation Theater Technology
• Previous experience in ophthalmic surgical procedures is highly desirable
• Commitment to maintaining a safe, sterile, and patient-focused environment
