Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Oracle Order Management Cloud Functional Consultant with 10+ years of experience in Oracle SCM/Order Management functional consulting. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Oracle Cloud Order Management, Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes, integrations, data migration, reporting, and end-to-end Oracle Cloud implementations.
The candidate should have proven experience in leading functional design, configuration, implementation, testing, client engagement, and production support activities across complex Oracle Cloud SCM/Order Management projects.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end functional design and implementation of Oracle Order Management Cloud and SCM modules, including:
- Order Management
- Order Orchestration
- Pricing Global Order Promising (GOP)
- Inventory and Costing
- Provide functional and architectural guidance for integrations between Oracle Order Management, Financials, Procurement, and external systems.
Prepare, review, and manage key project deliverables, including:
- Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
- Functional Design Documents (FDD)
- Conference Room Pilot (CRP) documents
- Configuration Workbooks (CWB)
- Interface and data conversion design documents
- Lead solution development, configuration, and validation of end-to-end Order-to-Cash processes based on BR100, FDD, and CWB.
Define and oversee testing strategies, including:
- Test script preparation
- CRP, SIT, and UAT execution support
- Defect triaging and resolution
- Act as a trusted functional advisor to client Oracle SMEs, business stakeholders, and project managers.
- Ensure solutions are aligned with business objectives, global design standards, and implementation best practices.
- Drive client reviews, approvals, and formal sign-off on solution designs, configurations, and rollout approaches.
- Lead and support business users during CRP, SIT, and UAT phases.
Drive data migration activities, including:
- Legacy data mapping
- FBDI/ADFDI template preparation and validation
- Data load execution
- Data reconciliation
- Provide SME support for business development and pre-sales activities, including solution demonstrations and RFP responses.
- Handle complex production issues and provide functional expertise for escalations.
- Design and deliver training programs for business users and super users.
- Lead knowledge transition and transition management from incumbent vendors or client IT teams.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of overall experience in Oracle SCM / Order Management functional consulting.
- Strong hands-on experience in at least 3 or more of the following Oracle Cloud areas:
- Oracle Order Management
- Pricing Global Order Promising (GOP)
- Inventory
- Costing
- Strong experience with FBDI, ADFDI, and other Oracle Cloud data migration tools.
- Proven experience integrating Oracle ERP applications using OIC/ICS.
- Hands-on experience with integrations using:
- Web Services
- REST APIs
- Middleware platforms
- Experience implementing multi-currency, multi-org, and multi-country Oracle Cloud solutions.
- Strong expertise in Oracle Analytics and Reporting, including:
- OTBI Reports
- Oracle BI (OBIEE) debugging and troubleshooting
- Strong SQL skills, with the ability to independently write, execute, optimize, and debug complex SQL queries.
- Experience leading large-scale Oracle Cloud implementations.
- Strong experience working in onsite-offshore delivery models.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, client-facing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
The ideal candidate will be a senior-level Oracle functional professional who can independently lead Oracle Order Management Cloud implementations, engage directly with business and technical stakeholders, provide solution-level guidance, and take ownership of functional delivery from requirements through implementation, testing, deployment, and production support. Immediate joiners are strongly preferred.
