About the Role
You will be responsible for architecting, developing, and optimizing complex Essbase applications while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with enterprise data sources.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement high-performance Essbase applications to support complex analytical requirements
Optimize existing Essbase applications for performance and scalability using advanced features and best practices
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Conduct thorough testing and validation of Essbase calculations and ensure data integrity
Mentor junior developers and promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies in analytics and EPM
Required Qualifications
6+ years of experience in Essbase development and administration
Strong understanding of multidimensional database concepts and OLAP technologies
Proven experience in building complex calculations and data models in Essbase
Strong expertise in SQL and relational databases
Experience with Oracle Hyperion Planning and other Oracle EPM tools
Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
Familiarity with cloud-based data solutions and ETL processes
