Job Description Oracle EPBCS Consultant
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, and support Oracle EPBCS (EPM Cloud) applications.
- Work on Planning & Budgeting methodologies including Workforce Planning, Capital Asset Planning, and Financial Statement Planning.
- Design and develop Hyperion Planning forms, scripts, workflows, and business rules.
- Perform end-to-end automation of Hyperion application tasks.
- Handle performance tuning, optimization, and recovery of Hyperion applications.
- Develop and maintain Essbase applications, including calculation scripts and business rules.
- Write and manage Calc Scripts, MaxL, ESSCMD, partition scripts, and report scripts.
- Design and implement security models across EPM applications.
- Integrate FDMEE and ODI with EPM applications.
- Perform Unix Shell scripting for automation and operational tasks.
- Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues before escalation.
- Interact with business users to gather requirements, resolve issues, and provide functional support.
- Stay updated with new technologies and best practices in Oracle EPM Cloud.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Hyperion EPM administration, design, development, and support.
- 34 years of strong hands-on experience in Oracle EPBCS / EPMBCS.
- Strong expertise in Hyperion Planning, Essbase, and EPBCS modules.
- In-depth knowledge of Planning & Budgeting processes.
- Experience in workflow and metadata design in EPBCS.
- Proficiency in Calc Scripts, Business Rules, MaxL, ESSCMD.
- Experience with FDMEE and ODI integrations.
- Good exposure to Unix Shell scripting.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies.
