About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to work on a production-grade SaaS platform that
operates across multiple cloud environments.
This role involves building and scaling core platform capabilities, improving reliability and
automation, and contributing to multi-cloud expansion. You will work across backend systems,
cloud infrastructure, and deployment pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain core SaaS platform components
- Develop backend services and APIs for cloud orchestration and platform functionality
- Build and manage Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
- Work with cloud services across compute, storage, IAM, networking, and event systems
- Improve system scalability, reliability, and observability
- Contribute to multi-cloud architecture and expansion efforts
- Implement and enforce secure design and operational practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, security, platform)
- Troubleshoot complex issues in distributed cloud environments
Required Skills & Experience
- 6–10+ years of experience in backend or cloud engineering
- Strong experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
Solid understanding of:
- Cloud architecture fundamentals
- IAM and security models
- Networking (VPC/VNet, subnets, routing, private connectivity)●
Strong programming skills in one or more:
- Python / Go / Java / Node.js
Experience with:
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
- Microservices and API-driven architectures
- Experience building and operating production systems at scale
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working across multiple cloud providers
- Exposure to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
Familiarity with:
- Containers (Docker) and Kubernetes
- Event-driven architectures
- Observability tools (logging, metrics, tracing)
- Experience with customer-facing SaaS platforms
Cybersecurity (Preferred)
Basic to intermediate understanding of:
- Cloud security fundamentals (IAM, least privilege, network isolation)
- Threat models and attack surfaces in cloud environments
Prior experience in:
- Cybersecurity, threat detection, or deception technologies
- Building or securing cloud-native applications
