About the Role

We are hiring a Senior Operations Specialist Live Delivery & City Operations to join our core operations team.

This is a fully remote role based in India, supporting U.S. delivery operations and working primarily during U.S. business hours.

In this role, you will oversee real-time delivery execution across multiple U.S. cities while playing a key role in improving operational systems, processes, and performance standards. Beyond managing live operations, you will help guide operational decision-making, mentor junior operations specialists, and partner closely with leadership to ensure the delivery engine scales efficiently as volume grows.

The position requires strong operational judgment, the ability to manage complex logistics in real time, and a proactive approach to identifying and solving operational challenges.

What You'll Do

Live Delivery & Dispatch Leadership

  • Oversee real-time dispatch and delivery operations across multiple U.S. cities
  • Ensure operational readiness before service windows begin, including order audits and route validation
  • Monitor deliveries in real time and proactively resolve operational issues
  • Reallocate routes, drivers, or resources to maintain service reliability and on-time delivery performance
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex delivery issues during peak service periods

Operational Oversight & City Performance

  • Take ownership of operational performance across assigned cities
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions
  • Partner with Driver Engagement, Restaurant Operations, and Account Management teams to ensure smooth execution across the delivery ecosystem
  • Support the rollout of operational improvements across markets

Process Optimization & Systems Improvement

  • Identify gaps in workflows, dispatch processes, or operational tooling
  • Develop and implement improved SOPs and operational playbooks
  • Collaborate with leadership on initiatives that improve scalability, automation, and operational efficiency

Quality Control & Decision-Making

  • Ensure deliveries meet internal operational standards and service-level expectations
  • Review delivery performance, proof of delivery, and operational compliance
  • Make high-impact decisions quickly during high-volume service windows

Reporting & Operational Insights

  • Prepare daily operational summaries and performance reports
  • Monitor KPIs such as on-time delivery, route efficiency, incident resolution, and operational throughput
  • Provide insights and recommendations to leadership based on operational data

Team Support & Mentorship

  • Provide guidance and support to Operations Specialists during live service windows
  • Help onboard and train new operations team members
  • Promote operational best practices and consistency across the team

What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)

  • Independently overseeing live delivery operations across multiple U.S. cities
  • Acting as a trusted escalation point for complex operational issues
  • Driving measurable improvements in on-time delivery performance and operational efficiency
  • Contributing improvements to dispatch processes, workflows, and operational tooling
  • Supporting the development and performance of junior operations specialists

Who You Are

  • 46 years of experience in operations, logistics, dispatch, or last-mile delivery environments
  • Experience managing high-volume operations or real-time logistics environments
  • Strong operational judgment and ability to make decisions quickly under pressure
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven
  • Comfortable working with operational data, spreadsheets, and logistics tools
  • Excellent communicator who can coordinate across multiple teams and time zones
  • Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members is a plus
  • Comfortable working primarily during U.S. business hours
