Senior Manager – Operations | Mumbai
A leading Financial Market Infrastructure organization and client of talentumHR is hiring for a Senior Manager – Operations role based in Mumbai.
We are looking for experienced professionals from Depository, Capital Market, Securities Operations, or Financial Services Operations domains with strong exposure to regulatory operations, stakeholder management, and team leadership.
Location: Mumbai
Qualification: Master's Degree / MBA (Mandatory)
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end operational activities within the capital market / securities operations domain
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors, inspection teams, and regulatory stakeholders
- Handle operational queries and escalations from clients, intermediaries, and internal teams
- Drive implementation of new regulatory requirements, operational processes, and system enhancements
- Work closely with stakeholders for process improvement and automation initiatives
- Prepare MIS reports, operational dashboards, and management updates
- Draft operational notes, regulatory responses, communiques, and business communications
- Lead, mentor, and manage operational teams to ensure efficient process execution
- Support operational governance, compliance activities, and process standardization
Desired Candidate Profile
- Strong experience in Depository / Capital Market / Securities Operations
- Prior exposure to regulatory compliance, audits, and operational governance
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong drafting and documentation capabilities
- Experience in managing teams and handling operational escalations
- Good understanding of DP Operations, Issuer Services, Settlement Operations, Custody Operations, or related domains
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and highly regulated environment
