Job Description

Opentext Exstream

Design, develop, and enhance OpenText Exstream applications for high-volume, personalized customer communications.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications, templates, and data mappings.
Build and maintain Exstream templates, rules, and components to ensure accuracy, reusability, and performance.
Integrate Exstream solutions with ECM platforms for content retrieval, storage, and lifecycle management.
Perform unit testing, support system/integration testing, and collaborate with QA to resolve defects efficiently.
Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement preventive fixes and optimizations.
Participate in code reviews and enforce development standards, version control practices, and documentation quality.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery, risk management, and stakeholder alignment. Minimum Qualifications:
B.Tech or equivalent degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
5–9 years of overall experience with strong hands-on expertise in OpenText Exstream development.
Experience working with ECM concepts and integrations (content storage, retrieval, metadata, and governance).
Proven ability to gather requirements, create technical designs, and deliver end-to-end implementations.
Strong problem-solving skills with experience in debugging, performance tuning, and production support. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience designing scalable document composition solutions for regulated or high-volume environments.
Strong understanding of content lifecycle management and best practices for ECM integration patterns.
Ability to mentor team members, guide implementation approaches, and contribute to solution architecture discussions.
Exposure to automation and streamlined release practices to improve quality and delivery speed.
Excellent communication skills to work effectively with business users, technical teams, and leadership stakeholders.
