About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Design Engineer – OHL to deliver detailed design for high-voltage overhead transmission projects up to 400kV. The role involves end-to-end design, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring safe, compliant, and buildable solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop OHL designs including sag-tension, creep, clearance, and loading studies
• Perform line routing, structure spotting, modelling, and clearance checks using
• PLS-CADD, PLS-Tower, PLS-Pole
• Prepare Design reports ,AD drawings, and technical documentation
• Support tenders, scope definition, schedules, and risk registers
• Ensure compliance with design standards, QA processes, and CDM regulations
• Collaborate with internal project teams, suppliers, and clients

Skills & Experience Expected

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering
• 8+ years of overhead transmission line design experience
• Strong expertise in PLS-CADD/PLS Tower/PLS pole and transmission line modelling
• Knowledge of BS / IEC / IS / IEEE / ANSI standards
• Proficiency in AutoCAD / MicroStation and MS Office suite
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects
