Job Description

As a Senior Officer – Quality, you will play a critical role in ensuring product quality, maintaining lab standards, and supporting plant operations through analytical excellence and process discipline.

What You´ll Do

  • Ensure adherence to organizational SHEQ standards and compliance requirements
  • Perform analysis and timely reporting of raw materials (RM), packaging materials (PM), in-process, WIP, and finished goods
  • Conduct sampling and quality checks, including random sampling and pre-dispatch inspection (PDI)
  • Prepare and maintain standard solutions as per schedule and testing requirements
  • Manage laboratory reagents and inventory
  • Follow defined sampling schedules and QA protocols
  • Coordinate closely with Sr. Officer and SCM teams to prioritize and schedule activities
  • Prepare sampling materials including labels, containers, and documentation
  • Support implementation of quality tools and methodologies such as CTQ, SQC, SPC, MSA, 8D, and MOC
  • Maintain and preserve sample records as per guidelines, including storage and disposal
  • Ensure waste handling and sustainability practices are followed in line with plant standards
  • Drive continual improvement initiatives based on SHE performance
  • Support and execute ISO standards compliance (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 50001, IATF 16949) at the plant level

What makes you a good fit

  • Minimum 4 years in quality/lab environment (Surface treatment or relevant chemical industry preferred)
  • Should be an M.Sc. Chemistry / B.E. Chemical Engineering
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • Hands-on experience with laboratory instruments and testing methodologies
  • Knowledge of statistical quality tools (SQC/SPC)
  • Basic understanding of ERP/SAP systems
  • Proficiency in MS Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across teams
