Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Officer in the physical lab at Vardhman Textiles, located in Baddi. The Senior Officer will be responsible for conducting and supervising physical testing of textile products, ensuring compliance with quality standards, maintaining and calibrating lab equipment, preparing reports, and collaborating with production teams. The role requires adherence to standard operating procedures and active participation in the continuous improvement of quality systems.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in physical testing of textiles, knowledge of testing standards and protocols
- Experience in equipment calibration, maintenance, and laboratory operations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for quality control and ensuring precision
- Effective communication skills and teamwork for collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in generating and analyzing test reports
- Bachelor's degree in Textile Technology, Textile Engineering or related fields
- Familiarity with industry tools and testing instruments is an advantage
- Proactive, detail-oriented mindset with a strong focus on meeting quality standards
