Job Purpose
Monitor and execute the establishment of World Class Manufacturing Practices and assisting the Strategic Business Units (SBUs) / Functions for implementation of WCM Framework, maintaining the Integrated Management Systems (IMS) and other related activities of WCM, Six Sigma and integrate the same with the company`s key performance indicators. Identify, prioritize, plan and implement all innovative ideas which will be subjected to regular measurement of efficiency and effectiveness.
Job Context & Major Challenges
- Identifying process quality issues and communicate with team members for resolution. However, not all issues can be fully/permanently rectified.
- Output and Key Performance of each team in Wool Combing, Worsted Spinning and Ware House area is measurable in terms of Quality, Cost, Delivery, Creativity, Productivity, Morale and Safety Indicators.
- Identifying industrywide WCM trends and their feasibility and scalability for adoption.
- Contribute to strengthen the IMS Manual, Procedures and other Documentation which are followed by Compilation of the same as per the respective ISO standards accordingly.
- Facilitate teams to work on the Sustainability Initiatives. Provide support in managing and organizing review of results
- Promote and support a culture of Continuous Improvement and Innovation among workers thus, build vitality and enable company to grow and profit

World Class Manufacturing | - Monitor and execute WCM implementation in line with the WCM Road Map for Manufacturing Excellence in the Business
- Guide and assist Supply Chain Mgt, Quality Mgmt. (Wool), Technology Mgt, People Mgt, CEM (External), NPD (Wool), Result of relevant areas of subcommittees of KFA (Aditya Birla Operational Excellence Framework)and coordinating review of the Improvement Process with them
- Guiding the Wool Manufacturing, Worsted Manufacturing and Warehouse floor workforce on various Tools & Techniques of the Key Manufacturing Focused Areas
- Monitor Operational Excellence track the progress of the Operational Efficiencies through monitoring of Key Performance Indicators based on QCDIP and make action plans accordingly. Assist in conducting training programs on WCM also.
- Assist in conducting self-assessment against the WCM Roadmap for the assigned subcommittees.
- Making reports on Basic Condition Evaluation (BCE) and sharing the status periodically and conducting BBSO round.
- Monitoring and documentation process of the GRS, GOTS, OCS, RWS and STeP Certification to be accomplished on time.
- Making Presentations on the Review of the management (President, CEO, BH) for the performance.

Institutionalize Integrated Management Systems | - Assisting in maintaining and updating all procedural and document control as required by ISO standard by continuously updating the IMS Manual, IMS Procedures and other relevant documents.
- Reports compilation for MRM - IMS, SPT - SA, Energy Core Committeeand substantial involvement in the external audit of ISO covering IMS, Energy Management System, SA and SR by certifying body.
- Monitor and execute action plans post audit in coordination with all concerned of the respective area.

Internal and External Award Application | - Assist in the compilation of the required data after verifying its truthfulness and prepare the application documents for all
external awards. - Compile the required data / information check the sanity of the same and prepare the application documents for all external awards like CII, Quality Award, ABG award or any Award decided by Management etc.

Employee Motivation & Recognition
| - Ensure effective motivation amongst the employees to start with the team and using the same principle amongst the shopfloor task force
- Facilitate to inspire people to excel through competitions (QCFI, CII), Kaizen Rewards & Recognitions etc.

Six Sigma Implementation
| - Assist in the identification of areas where six sigma projects can be implemented.
- Assist to facilitate the implementation six sigma projects execution in the plant.

Implementation of SAQ Questionnaire and BE Portal Operation | - To ensure the assigned SAQare completed within the Timeframe.
- Employee engagement in BE Portal and making it Operational by providing Handholding, Training to the stakeholders on MIS, KFA, BCE.
