Job Description

The Senior Officer Branding & Communication will create engaging, brand-aligned content for DMI Finance and its group companies, including ZestMoney, and Oxymoney. This role involves developing content across internal communications, marketing campaigns, social media, and customer touchpoints.

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the BFSI/NBFC ecosystem and expertise in crafting impactful messages that maintain brand voice, compliance, and resonate with target audiences across digital and offline platforms.

This is a pure content writing role that includes shortand long-form content such as WhatsApp, SMS, RCS, video scripts, mailers, newsletters, social media posts, website pages, SEO articles, etc.

Internal Communication:

  • Develop and execute internal communication campaigns, newsletter.
  • Draft employee engagement mailers and support L&D or HR initiatives with targeted communication.
  • Proofread and format internal content, ensuring accuracy, brand tone, and clarity.

External Communication:

  • Draft and coordinate content for external channels such as website copy, social media captions, and customer communication.
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and collaborate with design partners for seamless visual integration.

Employer Branding:

  • Contribute to storytelling and content creation for employer branding campaigns.
  • Collaborate with HR and communications teams to craft and promote the employer narrative across digital touchpoints.

Customer Communication:

  • Write and edit communication for WhatsApp, SMS, RCS, emailers, onboarding messages, and app notifications.
  • Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure content accuracy and timely distribution.

Internal Events:

  • Support content creation for internal events, townhalls, and celebrations.
  • Assist in planning communication timelines and coordinate with creative/design teams.

Social Media:

  • Create platform-specific content and support the management of the monthly content calendar along with the Social & Digital team.
  • Write accurate, on-brand social media posts that engages with the audience.

Qualifications

  • Postgraduate in Mass Communication / Journalism / Marketing / English Literature

Work Experience

  • 26 years of experience in content strategy, writing, and communication roles, preferably in BFSI/NBFC or a regulated, high-compliance industry.

Core Competencies:

  • Expert-level writing, editing, and proofreading

  • Strong storytelling and brand articulation skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
  • High attention to grammar, tone, and detail
  • Familiarity with digital platforms and content formats
