Senior Odoo Developer (Contract)

We're Hiring: Senior Odoo Developer

Location: Remote

Engagement: Two-Month Contract

Joining: Immediate preferred

We are looking for an experienced Senior Odoo Developer to take ownership of an ongoing Odoo ERP implementation and help drive it through completion and go-live.

This is a hands-on consulting engagement suited to someone who combines strong Odoo development expertise with a good understanding of business processes and functional configuration. The consultant should be comfortable working independently, advising stakeholders, recommending best practices and developing practical solutions with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand business requirements and translate them into Odoo configurations and customisations

• Configure standard Odoo modules while minimising unnecessary custom development

• Develop custom modules, workflows, reports, APIs and automations

• Integrate Odoo with third-party applications and external systems

• Perform data migration, validation and reconciliation

• Troubleshoot functional and technical implementation issues

• Configure user roles, access rights, workflows and security rules

• Conduct testing, resolve defects and support production deployment

• Document customisations, configurations and key implementation decisions

• Provide regular progress updates and implementation recommendations

Required Experience:

• 5+ years of hands-on Odoo development and implementation experience

• Strong experience with Odoo Enterprise, preferably Odoo 19

• Hands-on experience with Odoo.sh

• Strong knowledge of Python, PostgreSQL, XML, JavaScript and the Odoo framework

• Experience developing custom modules, reports, workflows and APIs

• Experience with REST APIs, Odoo connectors and third-party integrations

• Hands-on data migration and reconciliation experience

• Good functional understanding of Accounting, CRM, Sales, Purchase, Projects and Subscription modules

• Familiarity with Odoo deployment, upgrades, backups and performance optimisation

• Ability to troubleshoot issues and work independently
