Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled software engineer with experience in business intelligence, reporting, and analytics within financial services. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex applications, contribute to the full software engineering lifecycle, and serve as a trusted advisor on analytical solutions.
As a Senior Software Engineer / Analyst, you will design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot applications and reporting solutions. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality BI and analytical solutions while collaborating with multiple stakeholders to meet business requirements and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in all phases of the software engineering lifecycle including development, testing, debugging, and deployment
- Design, develop, and maintain applications, infrastructure, and reporting solutions according to business needs
- Build and enhance BI reports, dashboards, and analytics platforms
- Troubleshoot and resolve production defects within defined SLA
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Ensure solutions meet quality standards, industry protocols, and performance benchmarks
Key Skills & Experience
- 35 years of experience in building reports and dashboards using OBIEE 11g/12c
- Strong proficiency in Oracle SQL and dimensional data warehouse concepts
- Experience with OBIEE Repository (RPD) customization and BI Publisher report development
- Working knowledge of Oracle Weblogic Server (preferably Linux)
- Experience with database development tools like Toad / SQL Developer
- Performance tuning of complex OBIEE reports
Nice To Have
- Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAS), OBIA, Tableau
- Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and Can-Do attitude
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (foreign equivalents acceptable)
- Experience in financial services / banking domain preferred
