Full Stack Web Developer (Backend First)

Role Overview
We are looking for a backend-first Full Stack Web Developer who can build scalable backend services and support frontend integration when required. The ideal candidate should be confident in Node.js architecture and managing production environments.
Must-Have Skills (Core Requirements)
Backend (Primary Focus)
- Strong experience in Node.js and Express.js
- Proven expertise in building REST APIs / backend services
- Solid understanding of Express middleware architecture
- Working experience with MySQL and/or MongoDB
- Strong experience writing and optimizing complex MySQL queries
- Good understanding of performance optimization and scalable backend design
Frontend (Working Knowledge Required)
- Hands-on experience with React.js
- Familiarity with Next.js (basic understanding is sufficient)
- Ability to integrate frontend with backend APIs
Deployment & Server Management
- Experience deploying applications on AWS / DigitalOcean / GCP
- Familiarity with services like EC2, S3, Ubuntu server, basic monitoring and troubleshooting
Great-to-Have Skills (Bonus)
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions etc.)
- Familiarity with Microservices architecture
- Basic DevOps knowledge
- Experience handling production support and server setup
- Exposure to AI tools and prompt engineering concepts
