Job Title: Senior Node.js Developer / Team Lead – AI Expertise

Role Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Node.js Developer / Team Lead with strong backend development expertise and hands-on experience in AI-powered application development. The ideal candidate will lead a team of developers, architect scalable backend systems, and drive AI integrations using modern LLMs and automation tools. This role requires both technical leadership and hands-on development capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of Node.js developers across multiple projects

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and microservices

Architect and integrate AI-powered solutions using OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or similar AI platforms

Review code, enforce best practices, and maintain coding standards

Optimize application performance, scalability, and security

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend, DevOps, AI, and QA teams

Handle project planning, task allocation, and technical decision-making

Build and maintain RESTful APIs and real-time systems

Troubleshoot critical production issues and provide technical solutions

Research and implement modern backend and AI technologies

Technical Skills Required

Must-Have Skills

Strong expertise in Node.js, Express.js, and backend architecture

Hands-on experience with AI APIs and LLM integrations

Experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar databases

Strong understanding of microservices architecture and API security

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.

Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes

Strong leadership and team management experience

Experience with Git and Agile development methodologies

Good-to-Have Skills

Experience with LangChain, vector databases, and AI orchestration tools

Knowledge of WebSockets and scalable real-time systems

Exposure to Kubernetes and serverless architecture

Understanding of prompt engineering and AI workflow optimization
