Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced
Senior Network & Security Engineer to provide senior-level network engineering leadership, ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficiency of enterprise network infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for engineering, implementation, integration, support, security compliance, troubleshooting, and optimization of complex enterprise network environments.
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in
Routing, Switching, Palo Alto Firewalls, enterprise troubleshooting, and large-scale client-facing infrastructure management.
Key Responsibilities Network Engineering & Infrastructure Management
- Provide senior-level leadership for network engineering, implementation, integration, and support.
- Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade network devices and services.
- Analyze business requirements and develop technical network architecture solutions.
- Ensure stability, integrity, and availability of network infrastructure.
Network Operations & Troubleshooting
- Respond to network/system incidents and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Handle L3 escalations for:
- Switches
- Routers
- Firewalls
- Load Balancers
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and ensure timely issue resolution.
- Monitor critical network links and coordinate with ISP teams for issue resolution.
Security & Compliance
- Anticipate and mitigate security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Close findings from security audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Implement security controls to prevent unauthorized access and cyber threats.
- Represent network infrastructure in audit and compliance discussions.
- Plan mitigation strategies for audit observations.
Maintenance & Documentation
- Perform routine maintenance including:
- IOS upgrades
- Configuration backups
- Disaster Recovery (DR) testing
- Maintain updated:
- Network diagrams
- Device configurations
- SOPs
- Operational procedures
- Provide documentation handover and knowledge transfer to teams.
Vendor & Change Management
- Coordinate with OEM/vendor teams for RMA and hardware replacement.
- Work within change management policies to ensure successful infrastructure changes.
Monitoring & Ticketing
- Work on ticketing tools for issue tracking and updates.
- Monitor infrastructure using:
- Network Monitoring Tools
- Log Analysis Tools
- Maintain SLA compliance and ensure customer satisfaction.
Team Collaboration
- Mentor junior team members on technical issues.
- Work collaboratively across infrastructure teams.
- Present technical concepts in user-friendly language.
