Network Security Engineer

Role Overview
We are hiring an experienced Network Security Engineer for our India operations. The candidate must hold CCNA and CCIE certifications and bring proven expertise with Palo Alto Networks security technologies. This role will support enterprise network security delivery across global client environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and manage Palo Alto Networks firewalls, Panorama, and advanced threat prevention capabilities.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, conducting root cause analysis and remediation.
- Configure and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, VPNs, and SD-WAN.
- Perform security assessments, vulnerability scans, and periodic penetration testing support.
- Maintain security documentation, SOPs, and network topology diagrams.
- Collaborate with global teams across time zones to deliver seamless security operations.
- Support compliance initiatives aligned with ISO 27001, NIST, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Participate in change management processes and support project delivery activities.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4–5 years of experience in network security engineering roles.
- Active CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certification — required.
- Active CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert) certification — required.
- Hands-on expertise with Palo Alto Networks solutions: NGFW, Panorama, URL Filtering, Threat Prevention.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols: TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, STP.
- Experience with VPN technologies, NAC, IDS/IPS, and SIEM platforms.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills in complex multi-vendor environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) certification.
- Experience supporting managed security services for international clients.
- Exposure to cloud environments: AWS, Azure, or GCP security configurations.
- Scripting or automation skills (Python, Ansible) for network operations.
- Strong English communication skills for working with global teams.
