Summary:
This position is a replacement for an existing team member to provide Firewall support and technical leadership. The role addresses the increasing volume and urgency for new Firewall rules and supports critical projects, such as EOL Replacement, Factory and Office Segmentation, and new site Firewall installations. The role is crucial to maintaining the current level of support, especially for on-call U.S. analysts during late-night issues.
Responsibilities:
- Provide in-depth knowledge of processes, changes, and requirements.
- Participate in key projects to address Firewall quality and operational issues.
- Prioritize areas for quality improvement in overall network strategy, wider business objectives, results from audits, and discussions with colleagues.
- Improve quality of services and products through the initiation of appropriate techniques and processes.
- Ensure compliance with IT Controls and work with peers and leadership to set policies and standards.
- Collaborate with peers and architects to develop, communicate, implement, and review processes for strategic IT management.
- Interact with firewall vendors on issues, escalation, and strategy.
Requirements:
- Experience with Firewall installations, rule implementations, and troubleshooting with Check Point security solutions.
Required Skills:
