As a team expansion, we are looking to add an experienced Senior Engineer to our team in Bengaluru. This is a customer focused, highly technical role involving the design, evaluation and technical review of major network installations, implementation activities, client support, projects, transitions, due diligence exercises, and the development of new business solutions. Please note that this is a shift based position and you will be supporting customers outside of IST time zone.

What You Will Be Doing

• Provide expert P1/P2 support across Systal's customer base, ensuring swift resolution of complex technical issues in accordance with service level agreements (SLA).
• Utilise advanced troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve customer issues effectively, maintaining service continuity.
• Configure and maintain Datacentre, WAN, LAN, and WLAN infrastructures to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Handle and resolve issues related to access points (AP), wireless LAN controllers (WLC), and client authentication across various vendor technologies, including Cisco, Meraki, and Aironet.
• Apply extensive experience with network devices from multiple vendors, such as Cisco, F5, NetScaler, Checkpoint, Zscaler, and Juniper, to ensure seamless network operations.
• Provide expert troubleshooting and solutions for multiple firewall technologies, ensuring compliance with SLA requirements.
• Lead the creation and implementation of high-quality BAU and project changes, ensuring minimal operational impact.

Who We Are Looking For

• Firewall Expertise: Significant experience with large and complex firewalls, including Palo Alto, Fortinet, Checkpoint, ASA, and Juniper SRX, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve firewall issues effectively.
• F5 Big IP Experience: Proficient in managing F5 Big IP technologies, specifically Local Traffic Manager (LTM) and Web Application Firewall (WAF), to enhance network security and performance.
• SD-WAN & VXLAN EVPN Fabric: Strong understanding of SD-WAN and VXLAN EVPN fabric technologies, with the capability to integrate and optimise these solutions within existing network infrastructures.
• Enterprise Support Experience: Demonstrated experience in supporting enterprise customers, focusing on data centre and software-defined networking (SDN) technologies, including routing and switching (e.g., VXLAN/EVPN) and cloud integration with platforms such as Azure and AWS.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions to complex network challenges.
