Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer with strong hands-on experience in enterprise security and networking technologies. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise with Palo Alto Networks and Cisco ASA firewalls, as well as solid routing, switching, and cloud networking background across AWS, Azure, and data center environments (on-premises, Colo, and virtual)
This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can plan, document, and execute network initiatives while collaborating closely with other Infrastructure and Operations teams. The position is best suited for a self-starter who takes initiative, works effectively in both team and independent settings, and thrives in a fast-paced, enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and optimize Palo Alto Networks firewalls and Panorama, leveraging advanced features such as:
Dynamic Address Groups (DAGs)
L4L7 security conversion and policy optimization
Security Profiles, BGP, Prefix Lists, IPSec, and GlobalProtect
Support, migrate, and maintain Cisco ASA firewalls, including:
AnyConnect Remote Access and IPSec VPNs
Migration planning and execution to next-generation platforms
Configure and manage Radware Alteon load balancers.
Design, implement, and troubleshoot across data centers and cloud environments.
Collaborate with AWS and Azure network teams to extend hybrid connectivity and secure access between environments.
Participate in and sometimes lead after-hours and weekend change activities.
Create comprehensive technical documentation, network diagrams, and implementation plans.
Work cross-functionally with other Infrastructure teams to diagnose and resolve complex networking and security issues.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field (or equivalent experience)
CCNP-Security and/or CCNP-Enterprise certifications
PCNSA and/or PCNSE certifications
Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or equivalent)
Location: India Capgemini offices
Schedule: Partial Overlap with US hours is required for first 3 months for knowledge transfer. After that, work can be done during India business hours. In the event of critical issues, there may be a requirement for additional support.

Familiarity with change management processes and enterprise-scale incident resolution
Minimum 710 years of experience in enterprise network engineering
Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Strong communication, planning, and documentation abilities
Must work on-site a minimum of 3 days per week
